  1. Thank you Kathleen!

We have some families from the church – who don’t have family in the area – spending Thanksgiving with us. We’re going to be doing some crafts together, so perhaps we’ll come back to these.

  2. These are really good suggestions, Kathleen. Thanksgiving is all about appreciating all of the life’s positive turns. All of us have something to be thankful for this year, and we can do it in different ways. One is by making a thankful tree or wreath, or we can be more creative and do this Thankful Turkey, which is really cool. The pumpkin is a great idea too!

Aside from promoting thankfulness, Thanksgiving is also a great opportunity to give back and to bond with all family members. You can give away goodie bags to nursing homes, play football bingo, take a walk with your family, relive memories, call a distant relative, watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and so on. I’ve created something similar, and it’s a list of 35+ fun and safe Thanksgiving activities for our senior loved ones.
